A panel will select based on marks awarded to the candidate.
Members of the selection panel: Gram Katchahary Sarpanch (Chairperson), Gram Katchahary other Panch (Member), Gram Katchahary Sachiv (Member Secretary)
The merit list prepared will be preserved to fill future vacancies.
Before filling out the application form, candidates must register first.

Applicants should submit only one application for a given job position.
After completing the form, click the “Submit” button to save it as a draft.
Review all details carefully before final submission, as no modifications will be allowed once submitted.
Upon final submission, an Application ID will be generated.

1. Who is eligible to apply for the Nyaya Mitra post?
Applicants must be citizens of India and residents of the respective district in Bihar to be eligible for the Nyaya Mitra post. A minimum age of 25 years and a maximum age of 65 years are required at the time of recruitment. A candidate must also hold a law degree from a recognized university or institute.

2. What is the selection process for Nyaya Mitra recruitment?
Applicants are required to submit an online application via the official website in order to be considered for the post. Based on the candidates’ law degree marks, a merit-based panel is created by the Gram Katchahry Secretary. A committee led by the Sarpanch reviews and approves the panel. A final merit list is published following the resolution of any objections.

3. What are the duties of a Nyaya Mitra?
A Nyaya Mitra assists the Gram Katchahry by providing legal advice to the Sarpanch and Panch, helping determine case jurisdiction and trialability. They also aid in drafting order sheets, offering legal guidance during hearings, and ensuring the proper functioning of Gram Katchahry benches.

4. What is the remuneration for the Nyaya Mitra post?
Nyaya Mitras are appointed on a contractual basis and are entitled to a fixed monthly remuneration of ₹7,000. In cases where a Nyaya Mitra is assigned additional responsibilities in a neighboring Gram Katchahry, they are eligible for a 20% deputation allowance.
